We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people with and administrative background to support our All Age Continuing Care Service. These roles are key to delivering our statutory responsibilities for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Funded Nursing Care (FNC).
Main duties of the job
To provide an effective and efficient business support service to the organisation. The post holder will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service working with colleagues across the NENC ICB, ensuring deadlines are achieved within a constantly changing workload.
Job responsibilities
What Youll Do:
- Provide line management to our Business Support Assistants
- Provide administrative support for CHC/FNC referrals and processes
- Communicate with patients, families, and external partners (by phone and face-to-face)
- Handle enquiries and direct them appropriately
- Maintain accurate records and provide cross-cover across admin functions as needed
Qualifications
- A good standard of secondary education to GCSE level or equivalent incl. mathematics and English
- Working towards NVQ level 3 Business Administration qualification or equivalent qualification/experience.
- ECDL

- Minute/note taking experience.
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Experience of working in an NHS or healthcare administrative environment
- Formal minute taking experience.

- Experience of working with NHS Oracle procurement system
