About the Department

Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success work together to help customers adopt Cloudflare and build great Internet‑enabled experiences. The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers tackle real, technical problems while building revenue streams that support the company’s community initiatives.

About the Role

You will drive new business sales by identifying and qualifying target accounts for Cloudflare’s Mid‑Market service plan across the UKI market. This is a great opportunity for a Sales Professional to help build Cloudflare’s Sales and Customer Development function. You will combine both sales and technical expertise to engage with junior through senior levels within network operations, development, and technical infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Drive sales in a defined territory and/or account list to achieve revenue targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
  • Develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support the broader sales and customer development team.
  • Provide feedback on product-market fit and customer needs.
  • Participate in regular sales and strategy meetings.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of direct B2B selling experience to Mid‑Market accounts across the UKI territory.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and how the Internet works.
  • Technical background or strong aptitude for learning engineering or computer‑science concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills.
  • Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non‑technical buyers.

Travel

~25% travel.
