Job Description:

Our Client

We are working with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) — the world’s most forward-thinking professional accountancy body.

ACCA has a thriving global community of 252,500 members and 526,000 future members across 180 countries. They are committed to innovation, excellence, and upholding the highest professional and ethical values.

The Role

This role sits within ACCA’s Learning & Commercial team, a dedicated group of subject matter experts who create the study content and teaching resources that support ACCA’s students and tuition partners worldwide.

Over recent years the team has become increasingly specialised, with each Learning Content Lead owning a distinct subject area rather than a single course. You will take full responsibility for maintaining and developing content across the financial reporting stream at all levels of the qualification.

Key Facts

Full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract.

ACCA operates a ‘digital first’ approach. This role can be primarily home based (anywhere in the UK), with occasional travel to either London or Glasgow ACCA offices. If you live locally to London or Glasgow, you are welcomed to work from the office if you prefer this setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining study content and premium tutor resources for the ACCA qualification with particular focus on all levels within the financial reporting stream.
  • Leading the quality assurance of content written by external authors, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
  • Managing the content and feedback forum on our online platform.
  • Contributing to and supporting the changes to the ACCA Qualification.
  • Managing authors, including identifying contractors to support the creation of high-quality accountancy and education content to support students and tutors.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you can combine genuine technical expertise with the ability to write material that students can truly learn from.

  • A professionally qualified accountant
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of financial reporting
  • Proven ability to write high‑quality technical learning content that students can genuinely learn from
  • Approximately 3–5 years’ post‑qualification experience
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines and large volumes of work
