Home-Based (Deansgate Office Access + Site Visits)

£45,000 – £55,000 + Monthly Team Bonus + 8% Pension + Holiday Increase with Service + Opportunity to Grow Manchester Office

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Acoustic Consultant to join a growing acoustic consultancy and take ownership of their Manchester presence, with the long-term opportunity to build and develop a team around you. Are you an experienced acoustic consultant looking for a role with autonomy, responsibility and long-term progression? On offer is the opportunity to join a consultancy specialising in both Building Acoustics and Environmental Acoustics, delivering projects across a wide range of sectors from residential planning assessments through to major commercial developments.

The company is looking to recruit a Consultant who can independently manage survey work, reporting, client relationships and quotations across the Manchester region. This role will primarily be home-based, with regular site visits required.

This position is ideal for a commercially aware and technically strong consultant who is confident working independently and is motivated by the opportunity to grow and develop the Manchester office long-term. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across both building and environmental acoustics, with excellent report writing ability and confidence delivering projects end-to-end. The Role

  • Carry out site-based surveys and acoustic testing
  • Process data and produce technical reports
  • Prepare quotations and manage incoming project enquiries
  • Deliver projects across building acoustics and environmental acoustics
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Take ownership of the Manchester region and support future office growth

The Person

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Strong experience in building acoustics and environmental acoustics
  • Confident completing surveys and writing reports independently
  • Strong client-facing ability and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage workload autonomously
