We are inviting applications for Trust doctors at Registrar level in the Emergency Medicine Department at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Overview
This is an entirely clinical role at the middle grade level. The successful candidate will work with the existing team to support and develop the department.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in the Emergency Departments at Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
- Deliver care in the Urgent SDEC (uSDEC) setting.
- Participate in the design and delivery of new regional Emergency Services initiatives.
- Work with consultants and higher‑grade doctors to provide 24‑hour shop‑floor cover and specialist support.
- Collaborate with the trauma team and participate in Major Trauma Unit activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Motivated and enthusiastic doctor with a background in emergency medicine.
- Experience in ED or urgent care settings.
- Desire to develop within the department and progress to higher roles, including potential CESR pathway.
