£50,000 – £55,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to support the ongoing development and improvement of the company’s Quality Management System. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will help ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards while driving quality performance across manufacturing operations.

This role would suit an organised and detail-focused individual with experience in a precision engineering or regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Conduct internal audits and support corrective action activities
  • Assist with non-conformance investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve quality procedures and processes
  • Monitor manufacturing quality performance using appropriate quality tools
  • Provide support and guidance on quality standards and best practice
  • Participate in management reviews and quality improvement activities

Requirements

Essential

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Quality Engineering or Quality role
  • Experience working within AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 environments
  • Background in precision engineering or manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Experience within advanced manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes
  • Flexible approach to working hours when required
