National Account Controller – Private Label

2 days in South East Head Office p/week

£75-85k basic (DoE) + car allowance, bonus, healthcare and pension

The Role

• Leading and inspiring – Manage a high-performing team of National Account Managers (NAMs) and National Account Executives (NAEs), supported by cross-functional indirect reports, to achieve strategic partnership status with key Discounters.
• Strategic leadership – Craft and implement the Discounters channel strategy, unlocking new commercial opportunities and enhancing the company’s position in this competitive market.
• Relationship excellence – Cultivate and strengthen key customer relationships, ensuring alignment of operational capabilities to deliver exceptional results.

What We’re Looking For

• This role is perfect for a motivated individual ready to make their mark within a forward-thinking organisation. We’re seeking:
• Seasoned expertise – Operating at Commercial Controller level or above, with substantial experience in developing Private Label customer partnerships, particularly with major retailers in Grocery and/or Discounters.
• Inspirational leader – Skilled at guiding cross-functional teams to achieve clear, strategic objectives.
• Commercially driven – Passionate about delivering results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Industry knowledge – Exceptional understanding of Food & Drink commercial best practices and outstanding communication skills.
