Investigo is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join a high‑performing, in‑house Strategy Team in a mission‑led, UK research charity.

Overview

As part of a small team, you will develop corporate strategy across multiple disciplines, identify strategic priorities and objectives in line with the Executive Leadership and Board, and support organisational growth, optimisation and long‑term research advancement. The role requires building strong senior‑level relationships and acting as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Executive Directors and Board of Trustees to scope and develop strategy that shapes organisational priorities.
• Frame critical challenges, simplify complex issues, and use qualitative and quantitative insights to propose actionable solutions.
• Work across the organisation, adapting approaches to diverse strategic problems.
• Coach colleagues to build strategic capabilities and foster collaboration within a high‑performing team.

About You

• 5-10+ years in strategy, with experience developing complex, cross‑organisational strategy in top‑tier consultancy or in‑house teams.
• Broad experience across business areas such as finance, retail, commercial ventures, research, or organisational design.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management skills, with credibility and confidence to influence executive leaders and trustees.
• Creative, adaptable problem‑solving and critical strategic thinking from short to long‑term perspectives.
• Effective communication, able to navigate challenging conversations and balance organisational priorities.
• Highly numerate, analytical, strong financial literacy and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Not‑for‑profit/Charity sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
