Audit Executive

Audit and Risk Recruitment are currently working with a London Council in the search for an Audit Executive.

This is a proper end-to-end audit role. You’ll work across a broad portfolio of council services, running compliance and systems-based reviews with real autonomy — scoping through to final report. You’ll also get the chance to mentor junior colleagues and represent internal audit at working groups across the council.

What they’re looking for:

• IIA, CIPFA, AAT or other CCAB‑recognised qualification
• Confident running audits independently, start to finish
• Strong risk‑based auditing knowledge (Global Internal Audit Standards)
• Strong communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders
