Production Planning Engineer (Part 145)

Job Description

MPI has a requirement for a Part 145 Production Planning Engineer for a 6‑month contract with possible extension, based at Stansted Airport.

Applicants must have experience in maintenance, repair and overhaul Part 145.

Working days: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Friday (40 hrs per week).

These roles are deemed out of scope of IR35.

Job Purpose

The Part 145 Planning Engineer supports the organization in the production and management of maintenance and modification projects.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects to protect the critical path.
• Produce work packages in line with the customers’ requirements to ensure access, spares, tooling, manpower and third‑party service requirements are identified, ordered and available prior to the aircraft scheduled downtime.
• Coordinate acceptance of aircraft into maintenance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of project management within an engineering environment.
• Five years of experience in aviation maintenance, operations, CAMO or manufacturing.
