General Manager

Fantastic new opportunity for a General Manager to join this hotel management company based in Scotland. This position can be based in either Inverness or Edinburgh.

My client is looking for a commercially driven and experienced General Manager with a background in managing branded, full service hotels.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including rooms, F&B, guest services and maintenance
• Lead, motivate, and develop a hands-on team delivering exceptional hospitality
• Maximise revenue and profitability through effective cost control and business development
• Collaboration with the owner on the management of budget planning and execution of operational performance
• Build relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and brand standards

The Successful candidate will have

• Proven experience in hotel management (GM, Deputy GM or Hotel Manager) from within a branded hotel.
• A commercial mindset with strong financial acumen
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong leadership and people management skills
