The Role
An exciting opportunity to join our Award‑Winning Fundraising and Communications Team as an Events Fundraising Officer. Based in the Erskine Veterans Village, Bishopton near Glasgow, the post holder will help Erskine achieve fundraising targets and develop long‑term relationships with private and corporate supporters through a variety of fundraising and awareness‑raising activities.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Events & Sponsorship Manager to project manage outdoor and social events, including: The Erskine Burns Supper & Ceilidh, partnership with The Ideal Home Show Scotland, Armed Forces Events, The Erskine Golf Day & Dinner and The Erskine Military Ball.
- Coordinate all aspects of events to ensure they meet organisational objectives and budgets.
- Provide administrative support for the full programme of events, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Assist with marketing and communication tasks to promote events and secure sponsorships.
Qualifications
- Commercial events, community and/or fundraising experience.
- Education in events or marketing.
- Excellent project planning, interpersonal, communication and written skills.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Attention to detail in business‑critical administrative tasks.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a small team.
- Experience with NXT database software and Monday.com is an advantage.
- Full driving licence.
- Availability for evening and weekend working.
