We are recruiting for Shift Supervisor on behalf of our client who are a leading manufacturer in the Rotherham area. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, this growing business offers a stable working environment and excellent opportunities for development within the production sector. You will oversee and manage a team of 15, reporting directly into the Head of Manufacturing, your duties will include:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency
- Demonstrate hands-on experience operating and supporting printing machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Identify process improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and production delays
- Ensure all operational procedures and production processes are consistently followed
- Support and train team members on best practices, machine operation, and standard operating procedures
The successful Shift Supervisor will have a:
- Previous experience in a Supervisory or Team leading role
- Background within manufacturing preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Shift Supervisor, Night Shift Supervisor, Shift Manager, Production Team Leader or a Team Leader within a manufacturing or production environment.
Easily accessible for candidates living in or around the Rotherham, Sheffield or Barnsley area. Benefits include:
- £35,000 per annum.
- 3 shift rotation (week 1: 6am – 2pm Week 2: 2pm – 10pm Week 3: 10pm – 6am)
