Technical Buyer – Machinery
£40,000 – £50,000 per annum. Flexi hours and early Friday finishes.
Castle Donington – commutable from Arnold, Beeston, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Hucknall, Long Eaton, Loughborough, Nottingham, Swadlincote, West Bridgford.
We are an industry‑leading manufacturer of bespoke fully automated machinery. We design and manufacture at our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Castle Donington and deliver technically challenging projects to a high‑profile client portfolio.
Due to continued growth we seek a Buyer with experience in automation, robotics or machinery. You will be a pivotal part of our procurement team, overseeing a portfolio of suppliers and managing the full direct procurement process from start to finish. Training and support are provided to enable career progression.
This role offers excellent work‑life balance, flexible hours, and early Friday finishes – ideal for an ambitious Buyer seeking development without sacrificing personal time.
The Role:
- Manage and build a supplier base.
- Work with senior management on strategic technical purchasing.
- Offer flexible working hours.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
- Experience dealing with automation, robotics, or machinery.
- Commutable to Derby.
