We are seeking a highly motivated Acquisitions Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will identify and evaluate new opportunities from leading housebuilders and developers, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality homes across the UK.
You will work on a diverse range of projects, including Section 106 schemes, Homes England grant-funded initiatives, and other strategic ventures. Your ability to quickly assess opportunities and perform detailed underwriting will be key to driving successful acquisitions.
Duties include:
- Supporting senior team members in preparing appraisals and bid packs for acquisition committee review.
- Independently underwriting new opportunities, including site due diligence and financial modelling, ensuring alignment with investment criteria.
- Liaison with housebuilder partners to source essential information for new bids.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth progression of deals from Heads of Terms through to exchange.
- Engage with local agents, new-build sales teams, and databases to source comparable sales and leasing data.
- Work with grant teams to provide Homes England with required details for grant applications.
- Perform financial due diligence on developers to assess payment structures and covenant strength.
About you
- A degree (or equivalent) in Real Estate or substantial relevant experience.
- Proven experience as an analyst or in a similar role, with a strong interest in residential development and the UK housing market.
- Skilled in sourcing market intelligence, including liaising with local agents.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience running financial appraisals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders.
