Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Carry out valuation instructions efficiently with a high degree of independence within the Valuation Team.
  • Prepare concise and accurate valuation reports ready for Director review.
  • Collaborate with valuation colleagues and assume personal responsibility for instructions.
  • Work smartly and efficiently to maximise profitability.
  • Embrace procedures and safeguards to meet regulatory, quality and corporate standards.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the Midlands Valuation business and collaborate with colleagues across Avison Young to realise new business opportunities.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Proficiency in valuation software, ideally including KEL and Argus Developer.

  • Commercial and pragmatic approach to real‑world business and property issues.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience

  • RICS qualification (FRICS / MRICS).
  • RICS Registered Valuer.
  • Good working knowledge of the RICS ‘Red Book’ and relevant guidance notes.
