Senior Project Controls Engineer

Due to continued growth across the infrastructure sector, one of our key clients has engaged us to recruit Senior Project Controls Engineers across a portfolio of major infrastructure and capital programmes.
At Infraspec, we specialise exclusively in Project Controls recruitment across infrastructure, transportation, energy, defence and major programmes.
These opportunities offer the chance to work on complex, high-value projects within integrated Project Controls teams, supporting programme performance across planning, cost, risk and reporting functions.
We are keen to speak with experienced Project Controls professionals who can operate across multidisciplinary environments and provide effective support to project delivery and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting integrated Project Controls activities across major programmes
- Coordinating planning, cost, risk and reporting functions
- Developing and maintaining project controls processes, systems and reporting structures
- Supporting project performance analysis, forecasting and reporting activities
- Producing accurate programme reporting and management information
- Working closely with project delivery, commercial and client teams
- Supporting governance, change control and performance management processes
- Providing insight and recommendations to support project decision-making
Experience Required:
- Experience within Project Controls on infrastructure or major capital programmes
- Strong understanding of planning, cost control, risk and performance reporting principles
- Experience working within integrated Project Controls environments
- Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) methodologies
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Project Controls reporting tools
- Experience producing reporting for senior stakeholders and programme leadership teams
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management capability
- Consultancy, client-side or Tier 1 contractor experience preferred
