Being independent means the team answers to their patients and clients, not to distant shareholders. The practice operates across two sites and is currently investing in major refurbishments to modernize its systems and facilities. The location offers an unparalleled lifestyle. You will have the freedom to practice medicine the way you were trained to, with a focus on quality over quotas. Clinical Autonomy: You will have the “driver’s seat” on your cases, from initial consultation to resolution, with the support of experienced colleagues who are just a phone call away. The Caseload: A full-service small animal caseload including routine and intermediate surgery, medical workups, dentistry, and imaging. OOH & Balance: On-call is shared fairly (1 in 4), with weekends involving one hour of Sunday availability for true emergencies only. About You (To Be Considered) Please note: This role requires a high level of independence and is not suitable for New Graduates. Experience: You must have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a small animal environment. Clinical Confidence: You should be fully comfortable in a consulting room and capable of performing routine surgeries and medical workups without direct supervision or “handholding.” Traits: You are patient, kind, and observant. You can manage a busy diary and handle difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
