The Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end development of robust, performant, and cost-effective data pipelines, ensuring the reliability of critical data infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to translate complex business needs into high-quality data models and analytical solutions. Beyond hands-on development, you will act as a technical leader, establishing engineering standards, implementing observability frameworks, and mentoring team members to drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for production data environments.
- Extensive experience designing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managed data services.
- Experience with data modelling, schema design, and data governance principles.
- Proven ability to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with data quality, observability, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and lead technical initiatives.
