An established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Residential Property team in Northampton.

This is a great opportunity for a conveyancer who enjoys managing their own caseload while working as part of a supportive and experienced team.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
  • Advising clients on legal aspects of property transactions
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents and other solicitors
  • Undertaking searches with Local Authorities and the Land Registry
  • Handling completion processes including transfer of funds
  • Providing clear reporting and updates to clients throughout the transaction

About You

The firm is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented conveyancer with strong client relationship skills.

You may be a:

  • Licensed Conveyancer
  • Residential Property Solicitor
  • Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
  • Experienced Conveyancing Executive / Fee Earner

You will ideally have:

  • Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
  • Experience handling transactions including mortgages, transfer of equity, buy-to-let, new build and leasehold properties
  • Good understanding of property law and AML procedures
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • A collaborative and professional approach
