Senior Package Manager

We are seeking a Senior Package Manager to take a leading role in delivering complex structural and envelope packages on a flagship infrastructure project at Old Oak Common. As a Senior Package Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of major construction packages from planning through to completion. You will work closely with project teams, designers, and delivery partners to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Your leadership will help create a positive site culture where people feel empowered, supported, and motivated to deliver their best work.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of construction packages, from design coordination through to handover
- Create a safe and inclusive working environment, championing health and wellbeing across teams
- Manage subcontractors to achieve programme milestones, quality expectations, and commercial outcomes
- Coordinate design, site, and commercial interfaces to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor progress against programme, identifying risks and implementing effective solutions
- Ensure quality standards are met, embedding a right first time approach in delivery
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and key stakeholders
- Support commercial management, including cost control, forecasting, and change management
- Mentor and develop team members, encouraging continuous learning and growth
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, lessons learned, and best practice sharing
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong track record delivering complex construction or infrastructure packages
- Confident leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Sound understanding of NEC contracts and commercial principles
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
- Proactive problem solving and decision making in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality excellence on site
- Organised approach to planning, reporting, and programme management
- Relevant site certifications such as CSCS and SMSTS
