You will play a key role in delivering high-quality structural assessments and technical advice across a diverse portfolio of buildings. Working with modern digital tools, you’ll carry out inspections and produce real-time reports, contributing to efficient and client-focused service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed inspections of a wide range of structures, from traditional to modern builds
  • Producing accurate, site-based digital reports
  • Developing specifications for repair and remedial works
  • Supporting insurance-related assessments, including subsidence and structural damage
  • Collaborating with senior leadership and providing regular project updates
  • Contributing ideas to improve processes, technology use, and overall service offering

About You

About You

We’re looking for a technically strong and motivated individual who enjoys problem-solving and embraces new technology.

You should have:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Several years of post-graduate experience focused on structural inspections and defect analysis
  • Solid understanding of both traditional and modern construction methods
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach

The following would be advantageous but not essential:

  • Professional membership (such as working toward chartership)
  • Experience with heritage or historic structures
  • Exposure to insurance-related structural assessments
