This is a rare opportunity to join the well-established admin team at Aycliffe Secure Centre, where no two days will be the same.
The Home & Education Aligned Administrator provides vital administrative support to Aycliffe Secure Centre, working closely with the education team, managers and external agencies to keep daily operations running smoothly.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
- Managing attendance tasks, welfare calls and education-related admin
- Preparing accurate minutes for multi‑agency meetings and distributing them securely
- Processing admissions, maintaining records on ClearCare and handling confidential information
- Managing orders, deliveries, invoices and maintaining efficient filing systems
- Using a range of IT systems (Microsoft Office, Oracle, ClearCare, eCase) to support the centre’s work
WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will bring strong administrative experience, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work confidently in a fast‑paced environment supporting both education and residential services.
- Solid admin experience with strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
- Confident communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Strong organisation and time‑management skills, able to manage competing deadlines
- Accurate minute‑taking and the ability to produce clear written records
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent), with a proactive and professional approach
