Description
As a Major Project Coordinator, you will support the Project Manager for our NGED Contract, in building and maintaining the build programmes and their related duties for our City Fibre contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the recording of data on the relevant systems and raise permit requests as per NRSWA – good Streetworks knowledge is key.
- Ensure that all issues are recorded and escalated and work closely with the agents.
- Liaise with Supervisors and sub‑contract teams to ensure programmes are delivered.
- Assist with planning and coordination of programmes and related activities.
- Monitor the implementation of programme policies and practices.
- Keep updated records and create reports or proposals.
- Ensure that all client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner.
- Provide daily and weekly reports and ensure that all service levels and objectives are achieved.
- Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change.
- Ensure that safety issues are reported in line with company procedures.
Experience and Qualifications
- IT and system literate – use of MS Office software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in an organised manner to meet important deadlines.
- Working to detail, with a consideration of the wider impact.
- Experience in programme/project scheduling or events/diary coordination.
- Experience in recording and reporting data.
