Project Manager

Our client, an established main contracting based in the North West, are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. They have a reputation of delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, with project values ranging up to £50 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction through to handover
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Manage project programmes, budgets, and procurement activities
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Monitor progress and provide regular project reports and updates
• Resolve site issues and ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for a building contractor
• Experience delivering commercial, residential, or industrial projects
• Experience managing projects valued £10m – £50m
• Strong knowledge of construction management and project delivery
• Experience with JCT or NEC contracts
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred)
