Our client, an established main contracting based in the North West, are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. They have a reputation of delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, with project values ranging up to £50 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from pre-construction through to handover
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
- Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and procurement activities
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Monitor progress and provide regular project reports and updates
- Resolve site issues and ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager for a building contractor
- Experience delivering commercial, residential, or industrial projects
- Experience managing projects valued £10m – £50m
- Strong knowledge of construction management and project delivery
- Experience with JCT or NEC contracts
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred)
