You will also have experience in bespoke web application and website support, including configuring, managing, testing content, debugging sites, etc.

Role Overview

This is a key role within a small but growing IT team in a fast-paced SME setting, and you will be supporting a busy environment (both remotely and on-site), working on a wide range of IT support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bespoke web application and website support (configuring, managing, testing apps, setting up SharePoint sites, debugging websites, testing content, etc.)
  • Supporting stakeholders across the business including C-suite with confident and clear communication skills
  • 1st and 2nd line – M365, Azure, SharePoint configuration, hardware, desktop support
  • Liaising with MSPs to manage 3rd line escalations (bespoke CRM and applications, B2C platform, multiple third party systems)
  • Monitoring tickets and replicating bugs, producing clear bug reports
  • Supporting with system and data security within an SME setting, including running vulnerability scans and coordinating penetration testing
  • System administration and process improvement (ITIL)
  • UAT and UAT support
  • Manage IT assets including equipment, licensing, subscriptions, and domains
  • Project support and coordination of technology changes
  • Supporting an overseas call-centre function
  • Contribute to project delivery within a lean, fast-moving environment with high IT demands

Requirements

  • End-to-end IT support in an SME setting or as a standalone role, dealing with a broad range of IT support
  • Bespoke web application and website configuration, management, testing, debugging, etc.
  • M365, Azure, SharePoint, experience supporting CRMs and bespoke applications
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to support stakeholders across the business, including C-suite
  • Cybersecurity awareness and experience managing security-related activity
  • The ability to work both remotely and in the London office, in a high-demand and fast-paced role
  • Must have the right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available
  • Experience working in insurance or a regulated environment would be preferable
  • ITIL certification or other relevant professional qualifications
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers
