Mechanical Site Manager

Overview

Mechanical Site Manager – Chesterfield – Starts 11th August – £300 per day. We are seeking a Site Manager with an M&E bias, ideally mechanical, for a temporary assignment in Chesterfield, starting on 11th August for approximately 6 weeks. This is a refurbishment of an existing building with the aim of reducing the sites carbon footprint and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
• Work closely with subcontractors and the project team to ensure the timely completion of the project.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors; read and interpret design drawings; ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Certifications

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• DBS Enhanced
• First Aid

Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical installation knowledge
• Proven site management experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting design drawings
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• IT literacy
• Strong organisational skills

This is a temporary role and is expected to pay circa £300 per day based on working 7.30 – 16.30 Monday to Friday.
