Role Summary: Hamilton Woods Associates is working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, recruiting an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to work with individuals and families affected by domestic violence. This community‑based position requires travel across Kirklees.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with individuals and families affected by domestic violence
• Advocate for survivors
• Review support plans
• Signpost clients to other services
• Manage high‑risk cases
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection
• Provide support around housing, criminal justice, health and finances
• Work in partnership and collaborate with partners and stakeholders
• Actively engage clients and promote involvement in the service

Essential Criteria

• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Enhanced DBS
• Experience working with those fleeing domestic abuse
