Job Description

Global Benefits Analyst – 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a critical operational role designed to optimise, streamline, and future‑proof our global benefits administration. The role supports day‑to‑day management and continuous improvement of Fastmarkets’ global benefits operations, focusing on creating efficient, scalable and well‑documented processes, automating wherever possible, enabling self‑service and transferring knowledge to HR Operations so benefits can be managed independently.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Drive efficiency and automation across global benefits administration by identifying manual processes, redesigning workflows and leveraging systems to reduce risk, effort and dependency.
  • Support process design review end‑to‑end, including onboarding, life events, off‑boarding, annual enrolment and payroll prep, ensuring processes are scalable, well‑controlled and clearly documented.
  • Build durable knowledge and capability by creating high‑quality supporting documentation, FAQs, and transferring ownership to HR Operations so benefits can be managed independently.
  • Act as a problem‑solver and escalation point for complex benefits issues, using data, curiosity and sound judgement to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Partner closely with Finance to embed efficient, proportionate financial controls across global benefits operations, including budget tracking, cost control and the accurate and timely review of complex benefits invoices.
  • Strengthen governance and compliance readiness by supporting the development of a global benefits compliance calendar.
  • Use data and insight to improve outcomes, producing clear reporting on benefits operations, highlighting risks and opportunities, and making practical recommendations to enhance employee experience and operational performance.
  • Continuously challenge “how things are done”, stay curious about best practice, new tools and smarter ways of working, and proactively bring improvement ideas to the role.

  • Ability to produce clear, high‑quality documentation and training materials that enable others to operate independently.
  • Working knowledge of benefits compliance concepts, ideally across US, with judgment to know when to seek specialist advice.
  • High level of technical competence, particularly Excel and data handling, with the appetite to learn new tools quickly.

Desirable

  • Hands‑on experience working with benefits platforms and HR systems.
  • Experience supporting payroll preparation or system integrations where benefits data feeds into payroll.
