Overview
A highly regarded national law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing Employment team.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and well-established practice advising a broad range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The team works closely with businesses across a variety of sectors, handling high-quality advisory, tribunal and strategic HR work.
The role would suit a lawyer looking for strong quality work, genuine flexibility and a supportive team environment with clear progression opportunities.
The Role
You will advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters including:
- Day-to-day employment advisory work
- Disciplinary, grievance and performance management matters
- Employment Tribunal claims and litigation
- Redundancy and restructuring projects
- TUPE advice
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
- Senior exits and sensitive employee relations matters
- Supporting corporate transactions from an employment perspective
- Business development and client relationship management
The role offers a strong mix of contentious, non-contentious and advisory work, with exposure to well-known clients and complex matters.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from solicitors with:
- Approximately 2–6 years’ PQE in Employment law
- Strong technical employment law knowledge
- Experience managing a varied caseload
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach
- An interest in business development and team collaboration
