Maintenance Engineer (Mech or Elect Considered) Days Mon Friday
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work for a specialist manufacturing company who are based in the Keady area. This is a brand new role and on offer is a rate of £18 p/hr – £20 p/hr, bonus, pension and professional development support if additional electrical or mechanical training is required. Hours are Mon Fri, 8am 5pm.
Role Maintenance Engineer
Reporting to the Plant & Maintenance Manager, as Maintenance Engineer you willbe an integral part of the operations team in the maintenance and preservation of key plant and equipment
- Maintain & implement planned and preventative maintenance as per schedules for all plant and equipment and report key findings
- Changeout bearings, rollers, drums, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rams, trommels, support wheels etc
- Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation
- Maintain all records, documentation and literature in compliance with company safety, health, environmental and quality standards
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be able to climb ladders & stairs
- Carryout daily checks/inspections to improve the overall effectiveness of the plant equipment and to help mitigate reactive maintenance
Person Maintenance Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining heavy plant and equipment
- Recognised apprenticeship or other alternative relevant qualification considered
