ICU Clinical Pharmacist We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated ICU Pharmacist to join a busy hospital team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically focused pharmacist with critical care experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Review and optimise medication therapy for critically ill patients Work closely with consultants, nursing staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team Support safe and effective prescribing practices Participate in ward rounds and clinical decision-making Ensure compliance with medicines management policies and procedures Provide advice on antimicrobial stewardship, nutrition support, and high-risk medicines
Requirements GPhC registered Pharmacist Previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience essential Prior ICU/Critical Care experience highly desirable Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
