Executive Assistant to President and Chief Executive Officer
Our client is seeking an experienced EA to provide senior level support to the President and Chief Executive Officer. This role is a temporary position for 3 months; remuneration is £23‑24 per hour – Hybrid working.
Overview
Our client is an innovative healthcare organisation located in the City of London.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive and proactive diary management, scheduling often complex and demanding priorities.
- Treat correspondence and communication related to the CEO and President with discretion and sensitivity.
- Set up regular meetings for the CEO and President with key stakeholders, ensuring actions are followed up and notes are taken when required.
- Coordinate work and meetings across the Executive Team and Senior Management Team.
- Respond to or redirect written and telephone enquiries on behalf of the CEO and President, drafting replies or directing emails to colleagues where appropriate.
- In the CEO and President’s absence, manage their email inboxes, decide which emails require forwarding, and triage all other emails.
- Manage all meeting and travel arrangements, ensuring all information and papers are provided in good time and actions followed up.
- Deputise for other members of the Governance Team by providing occasional ad‑hoc support for core governance functions of the College, including elections and General Meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant at a senior level.
- Proven experience managing a varied and extensive workload effectively and prioritising successfully under pressure.
- Experience of dealing professionally with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and forming good working relationships at all levels.
- Experience of committee management and servicing.
