Technical Services Manager
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Package

The Company
My client is a highly respected interior fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a proven track record of delivering premium commercial workspaces. Due to sustained business growth and an excellent pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to spearhead the M&E delivery across key developments.
The Role
Taking ownership of the building services elements from the pre-construction phase through to final commissioning and handover, you will act as the pivotal technical lead. You will ensure that all mechanical and electrical installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and client specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the M&E coordination and commercial delivery on high-value interior fit-out projects.
- Review and validate technical designs, identifying and mitigating potential coordination clashes early in the construction process.
- Manage, monitor, and procure M&E subcontractors, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
- Drive the commissioning, testing, and handover phases, ensuring robust O&M documentation and client training.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, liaising closely with clients, architects, and external consultants.
The Candidate:
- A proven background as a Technical Services Manager, specifically within the commercial fit-out sector.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge encompassing both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
- Relevant building services qualifications (HNC, HND, or Degree in Building Services Engineering, or a trade background with equivalent management experience).
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse site teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
