Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

The Regional Member Engagement Manager is central to building a strong, engaged and inclusive professional community across your region.

You will play a key role in delivering the Regional Market plan, working closely with the Regional Board and internal stakeholders to ensure members feel supported, connected and valued throughout their professional journey.

Member engagement is a critical part of RICS’ impact and growth. Through events, initiatives and effective communication, you will strengthen regional presence, support member success and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the profession.

As a Regional Member Engagement Manager, you will:

  • Support the development and delivery of the Regional Market Plan, ensuring alignment with RICS priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Work closely with Regional Board members, supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing effectiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with internal colleagues, including Business Development teams, to deliver cohesive regional activity.
  • Respond to member queries and provide consistent, high-quality support across the region.
  • Design and deliver engaging events, networking opportunities and initiatives that foster collaboration and professional development.
  • Drive inclusive engagement strategies that connect members across disciplines, career stages and backgrounds.
  • Lead early careers engagement activity, supporting outreach initiatives and inspiring future professionals.
  • Manage regional communications, including social media and storytelling, to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Use data and member feedback to evaluate activity and continuously improve engagement outcomes.
  • Support the effective running of board meetings, ensuring clear actions, governance and progress tracking.

You bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach and are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, community building or member-facing roles.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
  • Experience designing and delivering events, programmes or engagement initiatives.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Confidence using data and feedback to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Experience working with boards, committees or governance structures (desirable).
  • Digital confidence, including social media and content creation.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach aligned to RICS values.
