We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor to join its established commercial team. This opportunity is suited to an ambitious solicitor with at least 7 years PQE looking to progress towards Partnership and eventually lead the team.
The role involves advising owner-managed businesses and SMEs on a broad range of company commercial matters, including commercial contracts and corporate transactions. Experience in corporate finance and working alongside commercial real estate clients would be advantageous.
Typical duties for the role will include:
- Advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses on company commercial matters.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Managing corporate transactions.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives.
- Working collaboratively across the wider firm.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales.
- 7+ years PQE in company commercial law.
- Strong experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client management skills.
- A commercial and proactive approach.
- A genuine interest in business development, ideally with an existing following.
- Ambition to progress into a future leadership role.
