Head of Impulse

Location: Hybrid – South East Office

  • £90,000 – £100,000 Basic Salary

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As Head of Impulse, you will take ownership of the company’s entire commercial strategy across the UK.

This includes responsibility for channels such as Convenience, Wholesale, Foodservice, Travel, Leisure, Hospitality, Discounters and other impulse and on-the-go environments.

Whilst the brand already has a presence across parts of this landscape, the channel has not historically been the largest contributor to the UK business. As a result, there is significant headroom for growth, making this a highly strategic and visible role within the organisation.

You will be responsible for shaping the long-term strategy for the channel identifying the highest potential routes to market, strengthening existing partnerships and unlocking new commercial opportunities.

The role will also involve leading and developing a small team, providing clear direction and ensuring strong execution against ambitious growth targets.

Working closely with senior commercial leadership, marketing and revenue growth teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the business maximises its opportunity within one of the fastest evolving areas of the drinks market.

  • Lead the overall commercial strategy across the UK
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across convenience, foodservice, travel and impulse channel
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key wholesale, distributor and operator partner
  • Drive distribution expansion, sales performance and commercial returns across the channel
  • Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for key routes to market
  • Build robust annual sales plans, forecasts and commercial strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and revenue growth teams to optimise channel performance
  • Provide clear market insight to support future product and channel development
  • Represent the business externally across key customers and industry stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience within Impulse/OOH sales leadership in branded FMCG – ideally food or beverages.
  • Strong understanding of routes to market including convenience, wholesale and foodservice
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing commercial teams
  • Track record of delivering channel growth and commercial strategy
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working within fast-paced, brand-led consumer businesses
  • Highly driven, entrepreneurial and comfortable operating within a growth environment
  • Ability to influence internally and externally at senior level
