AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with a Top 100 law firm who are currently seeking an Employment Associate to join their expanding legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to further develop their expertise in employment law.

The law firm are looking for dynamic Employment Associates ranging from 1-3 year + PQE to join their growing team!

Whether you are relatively new to employment law or an experienced lawyer looking for a genuinely agile environment where your voice matters, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Description:

• Advising on employment law, attendance issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures and termination of employment
• Day to day duties of HR documentation
• Supporting Partners in handling complex cases
• Assisting with Employment /TUPE Support
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with management training and workshops

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who:

• Must have 1-3 years PQE Employment experience
• Good academics
• Has some law private practice experience
• Good communication experience
• Can adapt to different client’s needs and empathise with their difficult situations
• Is self-aware and conscientious
• Is entrepreneurial and can-do in nature
• And a good team player
