Industrial Disease Solicitor – Liverpool – Up to £50,000
A leading national insurance litigation firm is seeking an Industrial Disease Solicitor to join its highly regarded Liverpool team. You’ll work closely with a Complex Disease Solicitor on a varied and technical caseload, gaining strong exposure to high-value industrial disease claims across multiple disease types. This role offers excellent hands-on exposure to complex disease litigation within the Liverpool market.
The Role:
- Assist in managing a caseload of industrial disease matters
- Review medical, employment and technical evidence
- Manage disclosure throughout the lifecycle of claims
- Conduct investigations and obtain witness statements
- Liaise with insurers, clients and third parties
- Instruct counsel and experts and assist with trial preparation
- Attend conferences, hearings and trials where required
- Draft pleadings, correspondence and case documentation
- Support case strategy and ensure procedural compliance
- Deliver strong client service throughout
- This role offers excellent hands-on exposure to complex disease litigation
About You:
- Experience handling or assisting with industrial disease claims
- Strong analytical, technical and drafting skills
- Good understanding of litigation processes
- Strong communicator with confident client handling ability
- Able to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively
- Organised, adaptable and proactive approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using case management systems and legal IT
