Controls Service Engineer

Role Profile
We are seeking a skilled controls service engineer to join our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our products and systems, delivering exceptional customer service, and resolving technical issues efficiently.
This is a mobile role and a willingness to travel within East Anglia and the Southeast is required. You will be hardworking and committed to achieving success for both you and your company.
Duties
- Conduct on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment
- Diagnose technical problems and develop effective solutions
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate technical support
- Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality and safety
- Document service activities, including troubleshooting steps and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Key Skills
- Qualified / Certified electrician, technician or electrical engineer
- Knowledge and a good understanding of electrical and mechanical process
- Understanding of either PLC, HMI, SCADA, Process controls, Electrical control panels
- Experience with either Trend IQ2-5 / Siemens Desigo / Schnieder Electric SmartX ECOStruxure / Distech and / or Legacy Andover Continuum BMS controls engineer would be advantageous .
- CSCS/ECS/JIB registered is preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous HVAC controls service and support experience would be advantageous
