Overview

An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment handling high-quality private client matters while developing long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:
• Wills and Trusts
• Probate and Estate Administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
• Taking client instructions and providing clear, accurate legal advice
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Managing files from instruction through to completion
• Maintaining excellent client care and professional standards
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
• Participating in business development and networking activities

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 2–5+ years PQE in Private Client
• Strong technical knowledge of Private Client law
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Client-focused and commercially aware
• STEP qualification or working towards STEP (desirable, not essential)
