Capital Actuary

Bolton Associates are working with a Lloyd’s (re)insurer seeking an experienced Capital Actuary to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop the internal capital model to support both regulatory requirements and business decision-making.
• Work closely with stakeholders to recalibrate model parameters and ensure alignment with the evolving risk profile of the business.
• Contribute to model development and integration projects as the organisation aligns capital frameworks.
• Support Lloyd’s capital submissions and ensure the model continues to meet regulatory expectations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance modelling processes, efficiency, and capital optimisation strategies.

Ideally looking for a qualified actuary or exam stopper with at least 7 years of capital experience.

Lloyd’s market experience and familiarity with regulatory requirements would be beneficial, although strong candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered.

Alongside strong capital modelling experience, they are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders.
