In our HVDC Systems Team, we are testing andverifying the hardware and software for our innovative high-voltage direct current (HVDC) Projectsin our Test Center and ensure proper functionality and good quality of our HVDCPlants worldwide during commissioning. Our diverse and multinational teams areworking closely together with project management, engineering as well as withend customers to provide customized solutions based on the latest innovationsin HVDC technology.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Youwill actively advance the Energy Transition by bringing our HVDC projects to asuccessful completion with our customers
- Aspart of a project team, you will carry out hardware and software testsincluding customer acceptance in one of our test centers and at our customerssites worldwide
- Youare responsible for the configuration, testing and commissioning of switchyardcontrol in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems
- You independently trace bugs and support our SoftwareEngineering in debugging
- You supportof Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk and Claim Management as well as improvementprograms
What You Bring
- Completeda degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable education /qualification, or Certified Technician
- Verygood knowledge with working experience in commissioning of bay control units,ideally SIPROTEC 5 series with DIGSI 5, including the associated high-voltagecomponents in the switchyard
- Solidunderstanding of high-voltage and substation technology as well as testing ofinterlocking logic schemes and automatic control sequences
- FluentEnglish language skills
- Willingnessfor worldwide business trips and mainly long-term assignments on constructionsites in UK, Ireland and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshoreplatforms
- Team player, communicative, proactive, positivehandling of conflicts, decision-making capability
