Background: A dynamic, modern law firm with a strong and developing presence in regional areas of affluence has signed off on an ambitious project to build out its London Private Client and Family Law offering.
The firm has strong backing and a clear vision: to build a technically excellent, service-led team with a fresh approach to high net worth and international private wealth.
The Role: An ideal opportunity for an ambitious Senior Associate to take a step up into a Partner position or a current Partner seeking a platform with fewer restrictions, more innovation, and the energy to grow something meaningful.
You will be responsible for developing the firm’s private client presence across London and internationally, offering a full range of advisory services to high and ultra-high net worth clients, including:
Drafting and advising on wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorneyHandling complex estate administration and probate, including intestacies and foreign domicile mattersProviding succession and tax planning advice, including lifetime gifting, asset protection, and post-death variationsAdvising international clients on UK property structuring, domicile and residency, and cross-border estate planningCollaborating with family offices, financial advisers, and tax specialists to deliver joined-up adviceLeading on business development and the longer-term strategic growth of the department About You
A qualified solicitor (8+ PQE) with strong private client experience across wills, trusts, estate planning, and probateTechnically strong, with confidence handling high-value and complex estates (often with international elements)STEP qualified or working towards itCommercially minded and capable of building lasting client relationshipsEntrepreneurial, self-driven, and excited by the idea of building a new practice from a high-quality platformA confident communicator and leader, capable of mentoring junior lawyers and representing the department internally and externally Why Apply?
