Job DescriptionHours of Work: 38 hours per week comprising a five-day work pattern to include every Saturday. One ‘off day’ in the week to compensate for Saturday to be agreed upon commencement.
The Job Role as the Electrical Engineer
- To provide electrical maintenance for the production machinery covering breakdown and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- To maintain all machinery in optimum operating condition by servicing and repairing to establish minimal downtime
- Attend site breakdowns during the working day and whilst on call
- To carry out general factory maintenance and upgrading of premises
- To carry out PAT testing
- To create and maintain PPM records
- Complete all paperwork, time sheets and job cards efficiently within a given time scale
- Ensure a high standard of health and safety at all times
- To ensure that you are fully conversant with and always carry out correct safety procedures and that all relevant equipment is safe to use
To be Successful as the Electrical Engineer
- You will hold the City & Guilds 18th Edition IET qualification
- Be a qualified electrician with a relevant Level 3 electrical qualification
- Previous job roles may include Electrical Engineer, Electrician and Electrical Installations Engineer
- You will have previous experience installing, repairing, maintaining and servicing electrical equipment
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
