The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Data & Analytics plays a key role in delivering advanced financial analysis, insights, and datau2011driven decision support across the organization. This role partners closely with FP&A leadership, commercial teams, and operations to enhance forecasting accuracy, improve performance visibility, and strengthen analytics capabilities. The position offers meaningful exposure to global finance processes and the opportunity to influence business outcomes through highu2011quality data and insights during a period of transformation at DePuy Synthes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and longu2011range planning activities.
Develop and deliver advanced FP&A dashboards, reports, and analytics to support executive and business reviews.
Perform detailed variance analysis and provide clear, actionable explanations of performance versus plan, forecast, and prior periods.
Partner with crossu2011functional stakeholders to translate data into insights that drive business decisions.
Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and analytical processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support financial modeling, scenario analysis, and adu2011hoc analyses for strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.
Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on analytics best practices, as needed.
Qualifications
_Education:_
Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, ora relateddiscipline (required).
Masteru2019s degree or MBA (preferred).
_Experience and Skills:_
Required:
4u20136 yearsof progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or data analytics roles.
Strongexpertisein financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data sets.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to senior and nonu2011finance stakeholders.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Preferred:
Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
Proficiencywith data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Anaplan, Hyperion).
Exposure tocommercial finance, pricing, or margin management.
Experience in medical devices, healthcare, oranother regulated industry.
Other:
Language requirements: Fluent in English;additionallanguages are an advantage.
Travel: Up to 10u201320% may berequired, primarily within the region.
