Principal Social Worker — Lead Safeguarding & MASH Practice

Cardiff Council’s MASH is recruiting two Principal Social Workers on a full-time contract. The role focuses on leading a sub-Team, supervising staff, and managing high-risk Strategy Meetings to ensure timely safeguarding for children and families. A market supplement of £5,000 per annum applies from 1 April 2026, reviewed annually.

The post requires collaboration with partner agencies, development of safeguarding practice, and commitment to flexible, high-quality service delivery.
