£60,000 – £80,000 + Car Allowance + Travel
We’re supporting a well-established consultancy delivering planning expertise across major UK infrastructure and construction programmes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint two experienced Senior Planners to support a strong pipeline of work across London and the wider region.
The Role
As a Senior Planner, you’ll play a key role in supporting live projects and wider commissions — working closely with delivery teams to ensure programmes are realistic, robust, and aligned with project objectives.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently step into a project environment and add value from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes
- Provide planning support across multiple projects/commissions
- Work closely with project teams to monitor progress and performance
- Identify risks, delays, and opportunities within project schedules
- Support reporting and provide clear programme insights to stakeholders
- Contribute to NEC programme requirements and contract compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Planner/Senior Planner within construction or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts
- Background working for or alongside contractors
- Confident working independently — able to integrate into projects without heavy supervision
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency with planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6 or similar)
