Are you looking for your next challenge, well look no further. Our longstanding client the Shropshire Council is currently recruiting for a Passenger Assistant.

Must have SEN experience and the willingness to ensure the student’s needs are met during their journey to and from school.

Duties:

• Ensuring the students have a safe journey to and from school.
• Correctly handling wheelchairs to ensure they are secure.
• Communicating with the driver
• Communicating with parents at drop-off and pickup
• Position does not include driving

Required:

• Always acting compassionately
• Working calmly
• Remain professional in all situations
• Must drive due to the location of the depot
• 0 hour contract

You will be given full wheelchair training, driver assessment and route training. Should you be a suitable candidate a full enhanced DBS will be undertaken.
