About The Team And Culture
The successful applicant will join an established team comprising three ECVIM‑CA internal medicine diplomates, one ECVIM‑CA oncology diplomate, four ECVIM‑CA residents, two discipline‑specific interns, and dedicated medicine nurses. The hospital delivers specialist‑led care through multidisciplinary, diplomate‑driven services (internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, neurology, surgery, anaesthesia, and ophthalmology) to provide the best possible outcomes for patients. Pride Referrals collaborates with the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine, offering opportunities for clinical rotations and teaching of final‑year students.
Applicant Requirements
Desire to pursue a residency is not a requirement; however, the one‑year internship is designed to prepare the candidate for an internal medicine residency. Successful candidates must be members of the RCVS at the start of the internship and possess proficiency in English, excellent communication skills, reliability, the ability to work and think clearly under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills.
